In Iris Island's myths, Irve was the daughter of Veantis and Steliara, goddess of the Aurora borealis. She represented dawn and light. Her chariot was driven by winged boys, and when she was riding her colorful chariot into the sky, then the aurora borealis shows up. Those who beheld the beautiful aurora could not stop dancing and singing during hours, specially if they were young children, thus she was considered goddess of youth and gladness too. Indeed, her cult was perfomed by really young priests, overall kids of 7-10 years old. When any boy suddenly disappeared from the temple, it was told Irve took him to be one of the deign riders of her divine chariot of light.
