The Japanese name is Sonic Rock 'n Rumble while the European name is Sonic Battle 2.
Gameplay
Sonic Rock 'n Rumble is the same, but with tweeked gameplay. This game introduces the Switch feature where you can switch to (or with) any teammate. The hubs are changed to, expecially the Main Menu. The "status" feature is added to the Touch Screen, you can battle your friends locally and online, the options menu has changed as well as other modes, and Challenge Mode has changed to Arcade Mode! There's also more, but I don't wanna talk abot it at this time, 'hope you understand.
